Well that was easy. From start to finish West Ham controlled the game and never really looked in trouble. Fulham offered very little and only Duff and Rodallega really seemed to be interested in playing football today.

In the first minute of the game we showed what we are all about with debutant Andy Carroll knocking the ball down to Vaz Te who cleverly found Nolan whose crisp volley put us 1-0 up. Both Reid and Taylor found the back of the net as the first half went on to put us in complete control. In the second half we took our foot off the gas but were never in any real danger, with a seemingly unfit Berbatov failing to cause any real issues for our back line. All three goalscorers barely put a foot wrong all game and really impressed, while Diame continued to impress the West Ham faithful.

However, Andy Carroll was the talk of Upton Park causing Fulham all sorts of problems and showed us what he is all about.

A very good display and a comfortable three points… just what we needed after the disappointment in Wales last week. The only negative was the injury our new number 8 sustained although the early signs suggest its nothing serious, and hopefully we can look forward to seeing Jarvis, Benayoun and Carroll linking up after the international break.
